Low Medium High
Code Meaning Severity Common Symptom
F1 Water fill timeout Medium The machine runs the pump briefly then halts, displaying F1, because water has not reached the minimum level sensor within the allowed fill period. View F2 Heating / temp sensor fault Medium Because the wash cycle cannot reach the correct temperature, enzyme and detergent activation is incomplete, leaving grease and food residue on dishes. View F3 Drain timeout fault Medium Several centimetres of dirty wash water remain in the sump area when you open the door, confirming the drain pump has not cleared the tub. View F4 Overflow / flood protection High Visible water on the floor beneath the machine is the clearest sign that the base pan has collected leaked water and the overflow float has triggered. View F5 Wash motor fault High The wash pump never circulated water through the spray arms, so the detergent tablet did not dissolve and dishes received no spray cleaning action. View F6 Aquasensor / turbidity fault Low The dishwasher cuts wash time too short or runs excessively long because the turbidity sensor is giving incorrect water-clarity readings to the controller. View F7 Water softener fault Low When the water softener is not functioning, hard water minerals deposit on washed items, leaving a visible white or grey chalky residue that is difficult to wipe off. View F8 Door latch / lock fault Medium The cycle cannot begin because the control board has not received a door-closed confirmation signal; pressing Start simply re-displays F8. View F9 Diverter valve fault Medium Because the diverter is stuck routing water to only one spray arm circuit, items in the rack served by the inactive arm receive no spray pressure and remain dirty. View F11 Control board comm fault High All buttons stop responding, the display freezes or shows F11 without accepting input, and the cycle cannot be started, cancelled, or changed. View F12 Rinse aid dispenser fault Low Without rinse aid being dispensed during the final rinse, water does not sheet off dishes properly, leaving mineral deposits and smear marks as the water evaporates. View F14 Detergent dispenser fault Medium The dispenser flap did not open, so the detergent dropped out later in the cycle or remained fully intact inside the dispenser, confirming the actuator failed to release the flap at the correct time.
