Low Medium High
Code Meaning Severity Common Symptom
E2 Water fill timeout Medium After starting a cycle the drum contains little or no water even several minutes into the wash phase. View E3 Overfill / pressure fault High The water line sits noticeably higher than usual — sometimes reaching the door seal — before the machine stops and displays E3. View E4 Drain failure Medium After the cycle finishes or is interrupted, water is clearly visible through the door glass sitting at the bottom of the drum. View E5 Motor speed fault High After the cycle starts and water fills, the drum does not tumble at all, or moves only very slowly in short jerky movements before the machine stops and displays E5. View E7 Heater / temp sensor fault Medium Laundry removed from the machine lacks any warmth, and the drum feels the same temperature as the cold water supply — the heater has not activated. View E9 Door lock failure Medium Pressing the start button causes the machine to attempt to lock the door, but the cycle does not begin and E9 is displayed within a few seconds. View F1 Control board comm error High The entire display or all programme LEDs flash together in an irregular pattern — a classic sign of a control board communication breakdown on Asko machines. View F3 Unbalanced load Low During the spin phase the machine shakes excessively, may move forward from its installation position, and produces loud banging sounds as the drum contacts the tub. View F5 Excessive foam detected Low Thick suds are clearly visible through the door porthole, often filling the drum completely and sometimes pressing against the door glass. View F7 Temperature sensor fault Medium Any programme with a temperature setting above 30 °C starts normally then displays F7 within 10–15 minutes without completing the heat phase. View F9 Programme memory fault High Unlike most fault codes that appear at a consistent moment, F9 can appear at random points — mid-fill, during wash, or at spin — because the memory corruption affects different programme steps each time.
